Florida CraftArt Gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida features Larry Roofner’s fine furniture and doors.The gallery accepts only juried work in Florida’s only state-wide non-profit organization representing Florida’s established and emerging fine craft artists. FloridaCraftArt

 

Larry was just included in Florida CraftArt's show, "At Home With Craft" in 2018. A Kauri wood rocking chair and a side table of Tamarind wood with a metal branch-pattern base were chosen from his entries. But when the show opened, the gallery had added 2 barstools and an additional table from his work for sale in the gallery.

Orlando Museum of Art chose Roofner for inclusion in a First Thursday exhibit titled “Touch of Glass”. Asian Entrance, a handmade rosewood and custom designed glass entryway was chosen as “Artist of the Month”  candidate at the museum. April 2009

Orlando Museum of Art included Roofner’s Mangrove Bar Stools in a First Thursday exhibit. June 2017

Architectural Details and other Decorative Crafts , a state wide exhibition included Roofner’s African rosewood, ebony and glass door and a sculptured rocking chair in St. Petersburg, Florida . 2008.

 

A handmade mirror and two sculptural rocking chairs were included in Buy Florida, By Florida: Furniture and Original Design,a fine craft 

showcase of Florida furniture designers. 2009

CraftArt 2011 included Roofner’s sculptured rocking chairs in the 15th annual art fair. Roofner won an Award of Merit in his first outdoor show from judge Beth Ann Gerstein , the Executive Director of The Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston, Massachusetts since 1994.

​

Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival is one of the nation’s oldest, largest and most prestigious juried outdoor art festivals, consistently rated among the top shows by Sunshine Artist and American Style magazines. Each year more than 350,000 visitors enjoy the show. Roofner's tiger-striped maple rocking chair won an Award of Merit in the 53rd Annual Show, March 2012.

Roofner received Best in Show for his walnut sculptured rocking chair with turquoise inlay at a juried gallery exhibit of fine craft at the Lighthouse Art Center in Palm Beach, Florida, 2012.

Winter Garden Art Association awarded a special Judge's Award to Roofner for a Maple Rocking Chair , July 2015 and Top Choice Award 3D for a Walnut Rocking Chair, July 2017.
